Electrical Program
This program will cover all the basic knowledge needed to successfully start a new career in the electrical industry. It will have a strong focus of hands on learning where students will participate in industry standard tasks. Throughout the program, students will learn how to plan and safely install all the electrical components in a residential building, as well as gain exposure to commercial and industrial applications.

Program Description
This program will introduce its students to a new electrifying career opportunity. We will provide the students a sound knowledge of relative electrical code, electrical installation methods, as well as electrical theory. Students will come out of this program with very strong hands-on experience from building functioning homes used by consumers. They will also work alongside seven other trades allowing them to be jobsite confident.
This program will have a focus on residential installations; however it will also cover aspects of commercial and industrial installations. Students will experience the use of trade related tools, the deciphering of electrical, architectural and mechanical blueprints, as well as the installation of all relative electrical equipment. This course offers an opportunity for its students to stand out to potential employers, and most importantly, it will stress the importance of being safe on the job.

Admission Information
Admission requirements
- Grade 10 Math (C or U)
Mature students, non-secondary school applicants (18 years or older), and home school applicants may also be considered for admission. Eligibility may be met by applicants who have taken equivalent courses, upgrading, completed their GED, and equivalency testing.
Applicants must also be residents of Ontario and eligible to work in Canada.
